Tablature
Key: G Minor
Tuning: G Minor (gDGBbD)
Capo: n/a
This is a tune I learned on the fiddle many years ago from a tune book. As far as I can remember, it was simply titled "Traditional Jewish Tune". I don't know for sure if it is, indeed, a traditional jewish melody or not.
What I do know is that it is a beautiful melody that translates very well onto the clawhammer banjo and makes a great introduction into G minor tuning studies.
Enjoy the lesson and the tab and let me know if you have any questions along the way!
*NOTE: Be sure to pay close attention to the specifics of this here G minor tuning as some folks tend to confuse it with the more popular G modal tuning.
